Introduction
Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Lampung (FMIPA, UNILA) is honored and proud to organize the 4th International Conference on Applied Science, Mathematics, and Informatics (ICASMI). The theme of the conference is "the Role of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Informatics for the Development of Advanced Material based on Natural Resources" is to highlight the role of sciences in tackling problems and creating synergies with other fields on the sustainable valorization of natural resources. Even in the covid19 pandemic, ICASMI will be held virtually on September 8-9, 2022 in Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. The conference will be held online. We wish to take this opportunity to welcome all the participants, the keynotes, and our invited speakers for coming to our campus virtually.
The International Conference on Applied Sciences Mathematics and Informatics (ICASMI) is a biennial event hosted by the University of Lampung. The conference allows the researchers, scientists, and students from mathematics and computer science, researchers with various application areas such as physics, chemistry, life sciences, and engineering, as well as in education and social fields to share their work, thoughts, ideas, learn from and lean on each other in this challenging time. It also allows representatives of industry, government employers, and postgraduate students to have an opportunity to discuss with experts some issues, and to shape future directions for research.
About the Conference
The pandemic has shifted our workspaces to home. However, we believe that communication amongst scientists should remain connected and updated. The ICASMI will be held virtually. This is due to the pandemic states of COVID-19 in Indonesia and the increase of cases in Lampung province especially. The Keynote and Invited speakers are competent in their field of study. They come from different countries, such as Pakistan, Malaysia, Thailand, Russia, and Indonesia. This conference will provide an opportunity for presenters to present their current research and results, and also for participants to learn up-to-date topics and research in their field of study.
